Gnocchis with rosée sauce with fresh mozzarella au gratin

PREPARATION 10 minutes

COOKING 15-20 minutes


1 lb (450 g) GNOCCHI GRANORO #144 pre-cooked for 3 minutes in boiling water


  • 250 ml (1 cup) olive oil
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 12 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped


  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) olive oil
  • 500 ml (2 cups) tomato sauce
  • 250 ml (1 cup) 35% cream
  • 1 ball of fresh mozzarella sliced
  • Fresh basil to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to BROIL (550°F).
  2. In a bowl, make the seasoned oil. Mix together the olive oil, half the garlic and the chopped basil. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the oil. Add the rest of the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add the tomato sauce and 35% cream. Mix together. Season. Reduce slightly (until smooth).
  4. Add the gnocchi. Cook for 1 minute. Mix.
  5. Place gnocchi and sauce in baking dishes. Garnish with slices of fresh mozzarella.
  6. Place under the broiler for a few minutes or until the cheese starts to colour.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
  8. Garnish with seasoned oil and fresh basil leaves.
